Rita great job on the replacement. You wold never know it was your first try at it and you picked a perfect background to compliment the shot! Great work and a fine interpretation. #1137853Rita K. Connell June 06, 2009
Thanks Michael, I just got my cs4 a few months ago when I finally start shooting raw instead of jpg. Jim Zuckerman said they both was a must. So I am on the baby roller coaster right now. Rita #7604169Aimee C. Eisaman June 08, 2009
Wow you are growing by leaps and bounds then! I would have never done this well my 1st or even 5th time with a background replacement. You did pick an awesome background for this. The only thing that would have made it even easier to blend would be to use this background with a guassian blur on it. :~) #7610343Rita K. Connell June 09, 2009
thank you what exactly does the guassian blur do? After I had work so hard at this picture, I realized that maybe I should have flip your picture so the lighting was coming from the same direction. something I will have to take notice in the future. #7611742Dale Hardin June 09, 2009
Super job for first time out Rita. You're already seeing the nuances of post processing with your recognition of the lighting issue. By the way the Gaussian blur is just what it says. A blur. Fully adjustable of course.Well done. #7613968
