Description

These were growing out of a bed of moss on a rock. I have no idea what they are (possibly the seed stems) but I thought they were interesting.

I think it must be plant identification day at BP today. This is a fantastic and unique shot, Wendy. You're basically correct, but I think with moss they are spores rather than seeds. Seems like only certain types of moss do this. Love your shot! #1252832
