Selective coloring. This photo was taken minutes after this engineer's steam train derailed at the Delaware Water Gap in Pennyslvania. Fortunately no one was injured.

Thank you all very much! This photo means a lot to me because it was a bit of photo journalism. We just happened to be standing there with a crowd of train buffs waiting for the steam train to come by on an autumn foliage ride. As the train rounded the bend, it suddenly stopped. It quickly became obvious that the train had derailed. Newspaper accounts the next day said that over the years several trains had derailed at the same location but hadn't been as lucky. At least two trains had gone into the river as recently as the 1960's and several people had died. Everyone was very lucky the day this photo was taken! #1279356

This Photo has been stolen and posted online.
Patricia, I was following a thread at digital image cafe about photos stolen and placed on Flickr. I've gone to the Flickr URL and left a comment and complaint to the admin, but thought you should also check it out, and if you have time, look to see if there are other photos of yours or people you recognize there, and maybe leave comments, report the abuse and let them know.
