~People~
A shot of Zain at the amusement park. They had these wooden trains for kids to play on in one area and he was nice enough to let me get a few shots of him. I loved this one because it was like I wasn't even there with my camera! So candid!

Beautiful composition and wonderful smile!!! #993290

Aimee C. Eisaman September 06, 2008

Thank you so much Max! He is a difficult one to capture with a real smile so I was very happy to get this one! #6418760

Sherry McClead September 22, 2008

OH no...not the smile... the EYES... great shot Aimee... maybe some off the top but I like the texture of the wood under the window. The window needs to be there don't you think?

Aimee C. Eisaman September 22, 2008

Sherry that is what I was having issues about! I'm unsure about cutting the window in half.....might be more powerful just left alone with the background in the window behind him. Thanks! #6488125

Joan E. Hoffman September 22, 2008

Its the eyes AND the smile!! This is a great shot Aimee... and I defintely think the window should be left intact.

I was all excited when I saw the thumb... I thought Zain was looking out the window of a barn... I was going to ask if there was room for my cow. LOL #6488400

Aimee C. Eisaman September 22, 2008

LOL....nope...your poor cow has to hang out in the elements it seems! Thanks for your input Joan! #6488425

I like this shot a lot, Aimee. His smile is so serene and he looks very relaxed. Great black and white as well. Is he excited about his new brother coming along shortly? Wow, three boys! I was lucky to make it through one!

I just love how you got the background through the window on the other side so nice and soft. I think it makes the photo and you shouldn't do much, if any cropping here. #6488602

Dale Hardin September 22, 2008

Another great shot from Aimee, the super duper people shooter! Well done.

As far as the cropping is concerned, I think a crop would help only because there is one part of the image that is at odds with the rest. Everything is straight and level except the wood above the window. Crop that and leave the black area to define the window. #6488892

Aimee C. Eisaman September 22, 2008

Yes and you have seen his fake smile too Debbie! I ask him not to smile at all when he does that! He is excited about the new addition! He is a child resulting from my first marriage so he goes to his fathers every other weekend. Well when I went to pick him up on Sunday he asked me if the baby was here yet! So cute! Yes 3 boys.....O boy, O boy, O boy! Thanks!

Thanks Dale....I was wondering about that crookedness when I was working this one. Due to the way it was built there was no way to have everything straight! I will give cropping off that top part a try, but will have to crop the sides as well so I can keep it printable or maybe I'll crop to an 8X10 which would just lose the top and keep the sides. Ahhhh cropping with printing in mind can be maddening! LOL! #6489676
