This is a wonderful shot, Carol! I'm stumped about cherries on a leafless tree in winter though - are they "hangers on" from the previous crop, or a different kind of cherries than the ones we see in the summer? In any case, I love this image! #38701Carol Hicks May 26, 2019
Thanks so much Janelle! I believe they are more of a choke cherry, honestly I am not even sure if they are cherries. Those suckers hang on all winter until they bloom again in the spring, actually I love that tree because it keeps all the birds fed all winter long, at least when they are not encased in ice! #38767Cheryl Meisel May 26, 2019
