Indigo Bunting

Uploaded: May 19, 2008

Description

It was a dark and stormy day. This Indigo Bunting male was hanging around outside my window so I snapped this image and liked the somber bg colors vs the brilliant blue of the bird.

Really great! Everything about this image is marvelous, Kenn.
I actually saw my first living Indigo Bunting a few weeks ago. He only hung around on our deck for a few minutes, but I stood there, frozen, in awe.
Glad you had your camera handy for this one!

I agree, "marvelous " is a good word for this. What a brilliant contrast between the blue and the bg. Very well done Kenn. Bravo. #5950869
