Drops

Description

aperture f2.8, shutter 1/160
This one was taken with my olympus point and shoot in macro mode. I tried it with the slr but couldn't get a deep enough DOF. Its a detail of a lava drip toy.

Wow!!! How did you take the shot Mark?
I really like the colors in the shot and the red drops really stand out! Hmm but the red drops look out of focus?? #185061

The shot was taken of one of those lava lamp toys. You turn it over and the oil runs down from top to bottom. I just put the camera in super macro mode then was abe to focus to about an inch away. With the camera in manual focus mode and set to close focus I moved it back and forth till the drops seemed in focus. They were moving though so with the shutter lag it was tough.
