Description

Using about 200m lens at 1/400, 7.1 this photo was taken during my lunch break in the Brisbane Roma St park lands.

Wonderful colour layers here! I like it that you've focused on the middle! You could improve your image by sharpening the middle layer to really make it pop out. I'd love to see a new version like that! Very pretty photo:-) #429747

Thanks for the lovely feedback. What is the best way to sharpen the middle layer using Photoshop elements? I only been taking photos since x-mas and hence am a bit of a newby especially to photoshop. #429838

I have the full version, so I can only tell you what I do in that one!

First you use the lasso tool to mark the area you want sharpened, then you right-click on the mouse, press "feather (3)", then you go into filters and choose "sharpen". I think that's about it! If I haven't made myself clear, feel free to ask me again! I like to help:-)

Thanks for the tip. Here is the result. I think you can an improvement - my eye seems to be drawn more into the sharpened area. #437882
