The snowy egret at the beach was having difficulty. It had a fishing lure caught in its beak. This park ranger tried to get close enough to take hold of the bird and remove the lure. Yes, coming closer. Yes, closer still. No, the bird shies away and then flies away after that. I hope someone was able to help it later.
