Description

Isn't it amazing that dead flowers can be so pretty and colorful? Yes, there is beauty in just about everything. 'Upside Down' is the theme this week & while at a workshop I had the opportunity to use a light box. This diy lightbox was a wooden box w/ 2 lights inside & a glass top painted white. After arranging the flowers on the glass you overexpose your shot about 2 stops. This makes the petals become almost transparent & the background very white. I arranged the flowers in an upside down fashion for this image. Settings: F 5 1/13 sec iso 100 @ 35mm +2.67 ex comp w/ tripod
