I always wanted a raccoon for a pet, they look like such cool little bandits with leather gloves! I was underr the impression they could not be tamed...but this guy seems like he loves your camera! #359530

Very nice lighting, Amanda! It's my favourite animal, too!
I was told that they choose freedom when 3 months old and are to curious to be let inside a house. #2187898

Thank you all so very much for your sweet comments! I really appreciate it! Yes, he is a fun family pet, he wrestles with my little sister's cat; they are great companions! hehe :) Macko is the second raccoon my family has raised. We had one once before, a girl named Meeko. They are very fun, but we only had them b/c they were found motherless and needed a home. We let them go when they're old enough, but both of them have chosen to stay around the yard and visit often for snacks. :) Hope you all have a great Holiday season, and thanks again for commenting!
