Falls Friends

For MT. Canon EF28-135mm, F14, 1/320, ISO200
A few years back I was shooting at Niagara Falls State Park in NY. I asked this group of tourists if they would like me to take their picture but they misunderstood and pulled me into their group and one of the Chinese gentleman began taking pictures with me. After that I again asked if I might take their picture so they all lined up and this is the result. I was given an email address to send them the photo file which I happily did. Well, a couple months later, I was pleasantly surprised to receive in the mail a wonderful book of photos called the Jilin Rime Travel Anniversary Album. The book also includes beautiful stamps and envelopes with photos of the Rime, one of the four natural wonders of China. It is an ice-covered wonderland of trees similar to what one can see at Niagara Falls in winter. This photo and the book are something I'll always treasure.

The first thing I did was read that wonderful story and what a beautiful relationship you were able come to with these lovely people. The thrill of receiving the book, the experience of it all, easy to understand how this will be a highlight in your life of photography and of a group of people who are now like dear friends. Touching story Terry.
