This Zinnia was bound and determined to get out of the shade and into the sun. From my favorite haunt - Zilker Botanical in Austin.

This is so beautiful, Val! I noticed this image as soon as you submitted it but did not have time to comment. Zinnia and gerbera daisies are my favorite flowers and this fabulous blossom is just gorgeous. I love the splash of hot pink against the misty green and the simplicity of this image.
