Description

Cliff House is a wonderful hotel in Manitou Springs, Colorado built in 1873 before Colorado was a state. It has 54 rooms each one different and each furnished in the Victorian style. Don't let its age fool you though, it has all the modern conveniences including a hot tub, flat panel TVs, Wi-Fi and, my favorite, heated toilet seats! There are 2 fine restaurants on site. For tourists, it is near the base of Pike's Peak and close to Garden of the Gods. Our foom was on the second floor just to the right of the tree. You could almost reach out and touch the decorations. It is close to Colorado Springs and a little over an hour from Denver and is highly recommended if you are ever in the area. It is very reasonably priced.
