Description

F/3.5, 1/320th, ISO-100, available light, -.7ev.

The slate roof of a parish church in Washington DC.
Some edits in PSE to remove a faint pink (unknown) ghosting circle on the upper portion of the roof.

How about this, Christopher: Open in PS or similar then duplicate the background layer. Hide the new layer and on the background layer, select the paintbrush tool and set the foregroound paint colour to a blue that matches the bricks. Set transparency of the brush to about 25% and paint over the offending stain, feathering into nearby areas. Promote the layer and set its blend mode to darken.
Make the top layer visible and reduce its transfarency to about 70%. Merge the layers and save.

And something has happened to the photo's Discussion Thread---many, many comments are now gone, and when you posted, BP sent me the usual notice that I'd had a comment -- but instead of saying "on Christopher's photo" as usual, it said "on anonymous's photo"... weird. #10239980
