Thanks to each of you for your comments. I love the look of the metal pieces of the lock with this treatment.
I am thinking to enter it in our local club competition. #144088

In this case the "less is more" worked out nicely. I love to look for little details like the lock to photograph while traveling. Thanks for your encouragement. I will submit it sometime. #144369

I really like the colors. The subtle orangish spot in the center of the lock also adds interest. Nice simple composition. Enter it your local contest for sure.

Thanks Loni, for your comments. Sometimes the digital filters help to make an image pop. This one is a very good example. #144785

So nice detail, I like this very much.
Oh Linda, I tried the link you gave me to see your photos from Denmark but didn´t work. Could you see what´s wrong? I would like to see them all, if possible.

Linda, what do you mean by "digital filters"? Is that something you're using in PS, or some other program? #144932

Linda C. Phelps July 18, 2003

Yes, I used a PS7 filter as I mentioned in my comments that went withthe posting of this photo. I used the posterizer filter on this one. Sometimes there is a big change in the imagealong with the color shift. This time it did not alter the details in the image. I really like this treatment better than to origional capture.
