A little help from Portrait Pro

Just a touch of digital darkroom here. I was playing with the latest version of the 64-bit Studio version of Portrait Professional. I wasn't going for a subtle improvement, as I normally do. I went for a glamour look.

This was a carousel shot from the Red Cross Red Ball on March 8. I'll show the "before" look in the discussion area.

This shot shows how the photo looked when I posted it on the Red Cross (SEPA) Flickr site. I started off just trying to remove the facial "hot" spots. The two ladies looked perfect fine otherwise. But, there ARE other possibilities, and I really didn't take it nearly as far as it could go in the first "after" shot.Monnie Ryan March 18, 2014
Definitely makes a difference - good job! #11003189Bonnie C. Lackey March 18, 2014
I suspect the two young ladies like the "after" shot the best! Nice one! #11003223John Connolly March 18, 2014
Your subtle DD work is most impressive Michelle! Well done! #11003332Gord MacEachern March 18, 2014
Wonderful image of these two lovely Ladies Michelle, your DD work certainly made you the equivalent of a make-up artist. Very well done!!! #11003344Susan D. Royce March 18, 2014
The portrait work on the faces look great, Michelle! The color of the light on the faces (flash) doesn't match the light on their bodies, though, which look a little purple. Maybe a second step would be a local adjustment of white balance on the bodies. Fun project! #11003498Daniella Puente March 21, 2014
Looks fun, great capture! #11005092Emile Abbott March 24, 2014
A real fun capture, Michelle and nice DD work. #11007476Donna La Mattino Pagakis March 28, 2014

Bravo! I use that program ALL the time and I highly recommend it to everyone. What a difference and thank you for showing the before and after. I really like that.My FAV button isn't working tonight or I'd have pushed it 3 times in your gallery tonight!! At least BP is up and running again.
I still miss being able to post the type of camera we and others are using.
