Description

While up on the scaffolded platform high in the vaulting of the cathedral's nave, I couldn't resist getting a capture of me in front of the west rose window. The window spans 25 feet 10 inches, and is quite a sight to behold, up close!

Thanks, Carol! It is really something--up close, you see just how much handwork the artist puts into every piece of glass; there's glass paint applied on most of the 10,000 individual pieces, to further control the light and color to the artist's vision. #10967009
