Description

This flower was found in the northern hills of Okinawa, Japan. One of its common names is Blue Pea. The scientific community named it Clitoria ternatea. Details about that, may be seen on my blog. Photo taken with a handheld Pentax KD10, using a Pentax 50mm prime lens f2.8 1/250 ISO 100 SEP 11, 2013 at 1:01PM. It may not be considered artistic but, the photo was composed for educational and scientific sites which require the shape of the leaf, as well as, flower. Contest Category: Flowers
