This little sheriff was at a wedding I attended recently. He was keeping order before hand, here is another shot of him. #1543883Michael Kelly September 10, 2013
The first one tells the story, but I really like the Keeping Order portrait which I think shows his personality. If you have room I would move him back in the frame towards the left edge slightly and adding an equal space to the right edge. Don’t do a lot but by taking away the space behind and adding it to the right it gets rid of some negative space and adds an area for him to look into.

Agree with both the above Beth. Have a nice trip and hurry back. Love this little rootin', tootin', two gun lawman in the making. Cute. #10840056Beth Spencer September 11, 2013
I added a some edge and recropped. I added some edge and then a bit of a blur. If there is a better way, someone let me know. I tried to do some of what Dale told Peter and then blend it.Beth Spencer September 11, 2013
Guess I should post the picture! #10840284Rita K. Connell September 11, 2013
what a cutie he is. great capture of him especially with the fact he didn't know his picture was being taken. I like the new crop. Hope you got your camera so you can get a few wonderful sunsets. #10840317Debbra Bailey September 11, 2013

What a cute little boy! Love the red cheeks and the plaid shirt. The crop is good. His mom will love it. #10840865Peter W. Marks September 13, 2013
I agree with Mike; the first image tells us the story. Then the edited second shot shows his great character. I would just like to see his face lightened up a tad but as none of the experts have mentioned it perhaps I need to check my screen settings.Beth Spencer September 13, 2013
My camera came back today and we are leaving in the morning for a week at the beach.......... NOt sure if I will get back to this for a while..... See you all! #10843057Elaine Hessler September 14, 2013
Very cute kid Beth!I like the second picture with more space in front of him and agree his face needs to be lightened up a bit-levels maybe? I like it better without the blur.
Stephen-Beth took this:) #10843907

I love the title for this. He's so cute! I like the new crop too, but it looks a little dark on my screen #10850186Beth Spencer September 21, 2013
I am back and finally worked on this some. I redid the crop with Dale's help and then lightened it up a little. Time to move on, to beach pictures!Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
