Description

Photo of the Day – January 2, 2013

As the village lights start to appear in the distance, water cascades down the steep bank at Rocky Point. The late-day sun illuminates the eroding, west-facing red cliffs along the sandy beach south of Port Orford. And all that could be heard was the magical symphony of rushing water and crashing waves, as the day slowly washed away into oblivion.

Quote of the Day : “To be bitter is to attribute intent and personality to the formless, infinite, unchanging and unchangeable void. We drift on a chartless, resistless sea. Let us sing when we can, and forget the rest..” –H. P. Lovecraft
