Description

Shot in July in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. The area is known for wildflowers, but the early summer and hot dry conditions made them scarce. It took a couple of days to find good specimens. The mountains in the background would normally have snow on their peaks which would have added additional interest to the scene.

Wonderful view, Bob! I hope we get more snow this winter than the last one. Better for both skiing in the winter and wildflowers in the summer. #1491762
