Fjord Shapes

Description

Once you pry your eyes off the magnificent Dynjandi falls and look the other way, the view is out over the Arnarfjörður fjord. We arrived
at the falls late (7:30pm) and stayed 2 hours, until the sun had just dipped behind the far, flat-topped mountain shown on the right. The light in
the sky and the sky reflected on the water left the landforms exposed pretty darkly; I pushed those darks even further to create silhouettes.
I love the abrupt transitions of mountain against sky, and water's edge at the shoreline, as well as the tiny glimpse of a distant mountain.

Exif: F Number: 14, Exposure Bias Value: -1.33, ExposureTime: 1/200 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 24.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 7D
