I love this Debbie! I like how you can tell what it is, but yet if you don't look close you can't... I am wondering if a bit tighter crop would work, so that you couldn't see the floor on the bottom right?.... #1469257

Took me a minute, but I found it....fun image! :~) I like how sharp and contrasty it is. I agree with Deb maybe a rotated crop will work? #10181233

I didn't see the interruption until I opened the photo. Fun! I love the patter, and the shadows. I'd be interested to see Deb's crop. #10181235

I love wandering this area in Chicago. I'm gonna be there next week, but I won't make it downtown.

I agree that the bit of floor area could go. Otherwise, looks good. #10181243

To get the same range of vision while rotating I also had to do quite a bit of warping to eliminate the bit of floor on the right side. Does this look too crazy now??? That's what I was aiming for in this critique -- crop options. I love how , in a way, the seat shadows look somewhat like piano keys. #10181257

Good grief -- I knew I re-entered twice but not three times. That means I need to put the computer to sleep and go do ironing... #10181260

I think it looks great like this! :~) #10181261

Speaking of patterns....here is just a super fun shot of 31 images of ME -- and coming from someone who rarely takes even one picture of me, this is overwhelming for me. Can any of you find more than 31? I can hardly wait to go back again, stand in the exact center wearing something bright red and see if I can find anymore. I had also thought of turning this one in for the MT (Technology) - probably minus the stars. #10181329

Love the crop! #10181339

That's crazy....wow! #10181342

The crop looks great!

That last image is fantastic. When you go back, you need a fisheye lens. #10181355

I sure like your cropped version and the '31 images' is wild and so cool. #10181685

Cool shot Deb..I think the edit looks great! I came this close to posting a very similar shot of empty seats at Fenway Park from my trip there this week, but decided on my monthly theme one instead.

I love your "Where's Waldo?" rendition too! #10181817

I don't usually like pattern shots, but I think this one works really well. I actually like the original crop the best. Your '31 images' shot is really neat :) #10181866

Dale Hardin June 15, 2012

these are both crazy interesting Debbie. Like the crop and was totally lost on the bean shot. I could barely make out even the ones you marked let alone find any new ones. :o) Darn tri-focals. :o) #10181983

I like your crop.

The 31 images of you is pretty cool. I think wearing something bright red is a great idea for next time. :) #10181987

This was just for Pfun! -- I had to blow it up to actual pixel size to see myself all over the place, though, Dale....so I guess I cheated!

Lisa - thanks for saying you liked the original crop (which really wasn't a crop). For some reason I like that one as much as the suggested crop version. That's the beauty of this club - it's okay to like the one you did best but seeing through someone else's eyes is important as well, even if you make the changes and then go back to what you took.

Debbie I really like the patterns and shadows on the first two. I like the first one the best. The last one is really cool but what were the reflections on? Cool pictures!! #10184275

Debbie, great perspective and observation of the pattern interruption. I like the first crop to the best to me it make the pattern interruption more defining. Love the find Debbie image too! #10184364

I didn't see the pattern interruption until the 3rd or 4th comment. I thought the pattern interruption was the diagonal running along the top created by the aisle.

I don't think the Warped version is out of proportion. It still looks natural. What I do think it did, though, was rotate the diagonal of the aisle to a near horizontal, and I think that weakened the over-all structure of the image. I think you might deal better with the bottom right corning with some cloning or healing.
