Geralyn...On this particular water drop shoot, I shot approx. 380 shots. A few turned out pretty good, including this one, but most were out of focus or focused on the wrong part of the drop. You have to keep moving your camera angle to catch the right one with manual focus.
~D...the softness is the waves from the drop before this one landing and rocking the water.
