YELLOWSTONE STEAM

Description

Taken in the early AM while the Temperature was still in the 30's. This is the basin that has Grand Prismatic and several others. We were able to see the clouds of steam from many miles away. Was nice to shoot it w/o the Bus tour groups all over the place. Another reason why EARLY is BETTER !!!

ENJOY THE WEEKEND

Having the two people on the right in the photo does place the size of everything into the proper perspective, nice work. #1416980

This is spectacular, Jack. Light is perfect to dramatize the rivulets. Composition is spot on. And while you don't want a crowd, the two "little people" are definite enhancements. A favorite. #9751795

An excellent capture to demonstrate the power that is held back under our earths crust, Jack! Makes me think back to our holiday we took to New Zealand at the end of last year when we visited the thermal area! Congrats on getting this one into the finalists!
