On Saturday I was honored to shoot the event "Authentic Minds" College Fair in North Philadelphia. The event was organized by my friend Maurice Hayman (aka "The Authentic") a brilliant, hard working Hip-Hop singer/songwriter whose mission is to encourage inner city kids to stay in school and then go on to college. "There's no reason you cannot go to Princeton University."

I arrived early at the MLK Recreation Center and was befriended by Chuckie, the boxing trainer at the gym. After accepting that I wasn't going to learn rope jumping on that day, he showed me around, and I realized that HIS mission was to "save" young people from drugs and crime and build pride and self respect in them. I met some of "his kids." What a day!
