Dolores, you are so funny! Thank you so much for your great comment. Making the finals with this photo was another big surprise for me. I took “The lonely chair” in the same day- even more – in the same hour, as my “Down to the lights” and “Kate”, more May finalists. They were all taken while I was visiting the University of Washington in Seattle. What a lucky day and place! Now I think I should go there more often! ;-)Mary-Ella – I appreciate your kind comment greatly! We are surrounded by so many great things that can make a good subject for our photography. This chair just happened to be in my way and I’m glad I didn’t pass it without taking a photo. Thank very much for your nice comment, M.E.!
