Gold Reflector
Uploaded: April 05, 2011
The f/32 exposure revealed so many little dust spots in the background of these tulips. Barb liked the look of the gold reflector I used to block out elements and redirect light in this one, and I was thrilled to bypass the magic wand and bg replacement phase in the digital darkroom, although cloning out the dust took more time.

Beautiful floral shot, comp and light.I know that when I stop it down past f/22, it's gonna be some work... :-(. But for some of these close up shots, it's what you got to do... Great job. #9338092

Barb was right, Marty. The colors are so appealing, as is the light. Beautiful series of spring blooms for you. Wish I could have been along on your visit with Monnie and Jack to say hi. #9350829Val Feldman April 15, 2011
The perfect b/g for these beautiful blooms, Marty - the golden glow of the light, the translucency of the petals catching that light, the textures of the petals themselves - perfect. Your camera expertise to capture all this glows just as brightly as your springtime blooms! #9352051Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
