A wonderful and, once again, unusual perspective -- hard to find a shot of the Louvre that hasn't been done 1000 times but you have managed. Love the inclusion of the seated figure adding a little human interest to the repeating patterns and lines of the image. Great tones, too. #1309642

Excellent composition, tones, and details...the man serves to complete the frame and adds, as Nikki said, a human touch to the magnificent repeating lines and angles! #8917544

Oh, I do like that frame, Katarina. The two round low posts are great in the foreground. We stop at those, wander down the long walkway past the lamps, and then circle back up the line of columns, and then have that delightful surprise, with the man sitting there looking at us. #8917575

Every month, with our camera in hand, we go out and find what we hope will be the “winning photo.”
Those of us that don’t get recognized, just continue to search for that special image, until one day the Congratulations come pouring in from some of the best artist and friends anyone could image.
So to the Better Photo winners for the month of September, I congratulate you on a job so well done.
My very best to all of you, Merna Nobile
