R.J, Linda, Carol, & Jim,
Thanks to all of you for your comments on my "Mill House Cottage" image. The image was made at The High Hampton Inn in Cashiers, North Carolina. Actually the cottage is called the "Honeymoon Suit" and is available for lodging. My wife and I stayed at High Hampton Inn for four days to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. No, we did not stay in the "Honeymoon Suit", but I was checking it out for just the right light and reflections many times a day. I will be submitting a few other images from our stay there. I recommend the High Hampton Inn. While the "Honeymoon Suit" looks like it is a very remote spot, in reality it is located near the 18th green of the golf course. Thanks again for your comments. Merna,
Thank you for commenting on "Mill House Cottage". I spent time on your gallery, and particularly enjoyed you "Little Church on The Hill" image. I agree with your comments about having photographed the scene numerous times. Returning to a favorite site allows us to hone our sensitivity to the scene and make improvements of our images. I am posting a few more images of the Mill House cottage that change the "flavor" somewhat. Charles #8912020
