Donald K. Cherry July 13, 2005

Great shot, Ed! I saw a similar scene to this on my way home from work yesterday in middlefield OH (amish country) and thought about stopping for a few shots, but was in a hurry to get home so the wife could go to work! I love your composition and perspective! #1587526

Good morning Paul, Carolyn & Donald,
Thanks for the nice comments, they are truly appreciated! And Donald yes I too shot this yesterday on the way home from work. I had actually drove past the scene and made a u-turn to go back and shoot it... Carolyn most of our are round here too. Only here lately I've been seeing the square ones...
Thanks again guys :-) #1587764

Great bale, Ed! Love your "U-turn" frame of mind! #1587814

Ed Heaton July 13, 2005

Hi Noel,
Thanks. I read an article in the BetterPhoto blog "Even Stone Faces Disappear" by Jeff Wignall about not taking the time to shoot what you see at that moment in time and it really hit home! So needless to say I'm much more open to taking the time to make some hopefully good images! #1587838
