Description

I would like like to thank Kathy Cline for the use of her OUTSTANDING lens to capture this image.

These orchids were photographed inside a greenhouse, making for superb lighting. I combined 6 exposures in Photomatix, cropped the image in Bridge and a VERY light touch up done in PS CS4.

I would love to own a lens like this!!! Having most of the work, done in camera, is the best!!!

This is just beautiful, Donna! It has an oh-so-slight dreamy quality to it, like a glow---it certainly doesn't look anything like my Photomatix attempts (though I usually try just 3 exposures)---far better than my attempts; just fantastic! #8594765

Have to make this my favorite of your July entries, Donna -- so glad to see it again. The rich tones and details are just beautiful and I love the full frame composition.
Hard to say for sure but I think my favorite of your sunset/night beach shots is Razzle Dazzle. It has great lines and I just love the stars. I like Tidal Play (know I've told you that before) and Just Passing Through -- wonderful use of strong shadows to complete the design elements in both of these.
