Description

Honeysuckle is a Partial Albino Red-tailed Hawk. The spread tail feathers reminded me of a bridal train.

Love this picture Donna. What a beautiful bird. I like the way you have set off her white feathers with the fall colors. #11843

Thank you so much Carol and Jim! Honeysuckle makes a great model and is quite beautiful. She (or maybe a he) gets a little more white every year. #19866

Wonderful composition. How trained is Honeysuckle? Again, I am interested in the camera and settings used in this capture. White feathers and fur are so difficult to reproduce for most cameras. This photo is very well done. In keeping with the white theme, I am submitting a photo example. If nothing else, it demonstrates my difficulty in capturing pure whites correctly. #19867

Great capture. That's the first time I have seen an albino Hawk before. #19931

Donna, both the bird and the photo are very beautiful! The bold colors really make it clear just how white the bird is. #20884
