Description

I shot this with a 19-35 lens at 19. This was an unusually long exposure for a pet photo. It was f/22 @4 +half stop using 100 neg film . Natural window light on an overcast day with light rain.

Donna, I feel like I could reach out and pet Couge. He looks like royalty sitting there and I love the priceless look on his face. Looks like he enjoyed having his picture taken too. Ma #20705

Hi Carol, Thanks so much. It's nice knowing that other people think that he is handsome too. Thank you for the comment, I appreciate the feedback! #20708

Donna R. Moratelli May 26, 2019

Hi ma,Thanks, Glad you like it!..!He is a king! ..I have been leaving the tripod out set up, right next to that chair with the camera on it hoping that he would get used to it.. Who knows, maybe he does like it now. He understands english but doesn't speak well yet! #20709

Carolyn M. Fletcher level-classic May 26, 2019

Good idea with the tripod! I'll have to try that. Ally will probably knock it over trying to climb it, though, so maybe not such a good idea!
Re the other discussion, we have some choices..California or Florida..If we went, it'd be just in time for the hurricane or the earthquake! You know it's true!! haha..Anyway thanks for the invites, Marcy and Carol!! #20753

Donna R. Moratelli May 26, 2019

regarding the tripod, Keep it out WITHOUT the camera on it. Set it up low so if she does climb it, she won't get hurt.............

I think that you are probably right about the hurricane and earthquake. It sounds like my luck too. You can't imagine how cold it is here today again. A heat wave sounds great right now!

Cold here, too..and still dripping. I just went out to try to shoot some of the duck flights that are going over and almost drowned. haha.. They say maybe a little sun tonight and then more rain for a few more days. I'm so depressed! As for the tripod, it's most likely not going to work, since nobody has a certain place they always sit. That will probably change when it gets colder. #20760

In the seventies and sunny today here. I will be thinking of you Donna and Carolyn. #20772

It's suppose to snow here today according to the forcast. Horrible thought! #20938
