I got a new Canon Powershot A40 Thursday. Friday it rained all day. Today it stoppped but the sun never shined at all. So I tried some manual settings to see how it would perform in low afternoon light. So far, so good. It has as many manual functions as my Minolta S404. At 1600 X 1200 and lowest compression, the colors and detail seem fairly nice. Should be good for 5" X 7" prints. Here's kitty from a bit closer. #19435Maxine Snyder May 26, 2019
