Adam - Very nice shot. I love portraits on the beach and this is a great one. Did you use any fill lighting or filters? -Sharon #8701Kathleen Clemons September 05, 2002

Great picture! #13498Adam Bolt September 05, 2002
Thankyou everyone for your comments. I didn't expect this many responses. The picture isn't as sharp as it should be, I only have a cheap flat bed and this is the best that I could get from it. No filters or reflectors were used. The sand makes for a great reflector and I slightly over exposed the shot. It was shot wide oppen at f4 at the 200 focal length. I don't even know who the kid is. I got bored of shooting the model we had at the beach for the photography club and took this candid. I now wish I had of taken the parents details, I may have been able to get some work from it.Heather K. McFarland September 13, 2002
I really like this Adam. Lovely out of focus background really makes the child "pop" out of the image. #14661Donna R. Moratelli September 15, 2002
Hi Adam, This is great! You can make a lot of money shooting portraits like this for people. You have a very pleasing style. The background is perfect..... #14803Carolyn J. Connolly March 19, 2004
What a lovely candid portrait of that little boy Adam - whoever he may be! A very nice image! I don't think that it's that un-sharp - certainly not enough to worry me anyway! The colour, lighting and composition is perfect! By the way, I found this shot in your gallery Adam - you have a great selection of photo's in it - well done! #431770Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
