Cathy and Wolfgang!This is not far from my parents' place. I used to go to that wood with friends when I was a youngster.
Actually I intended to shoot another type of image. I remembered that this was a thick, clear forest with huge oak and pine trees. I wanted to shoot those thick trees with a carpet of leaves on the forest bed.
But, when I arrived this was what I saw: only a couple of thin pitiful birches and pines... All that old forest has been cut down...
