Autumn's Beginning

Uploaded: October 03, 2002 23:09:17

Description

Just another soft, gloomy day photo of an early turned patch of leaves that danced in the wind. Taken with a Nikon F65, hand-held, natural lighting, no special filters/lenses used, unedited except for the border, manual focus, auto settings.

Loralee, the colours and composition in this photo are lovely. Unfortuantely, though, the focus looks a little soft to me--probably because the leaves were moving in the wind and the shutter speed wasn't quite fast enough to freeze the movement. I've been doing my best to photograph leaves in the breeze lately, too, and so I really empathize with the problem. #10164
