Large Butterfly on Red Flowers

Uploaded: September 19, 2002 00:47:18

Description

One of the pavillions in the Toronto Zoo contains butterflies among other creatures. Unfortunately, the pavillion has quite low light, which makes it difficult to photograph its inhabitants. I photographed this butterfly there today with my Nikon CP 4500. The shutter speed was 1/16. Handheld.

Thank you very much, Toni. I took about 5 shots of this butterfly in the hope that at least one might turn out OK. This was the best. Of course, the butterfly kept moving its wings, which didn't help matters! I was very grateful that I got this shot. #15216
