Hi Heather, great colours & composition. Like that Nikon D1x, but too expensive here in New Zealand...$16,000 NZD! Looking forward to trying out the new Nikon D100.

Cheers, Mike. #5580

Love this effect, Heather! But what is "buzz"? Is that a Corel Paint feature? Never heard of it! At any rate, wish I had the feature... it beautifully enhanced your image! #8041

Thank you Dolores and Mike.

Mike - yup, it was an expensive camera and a big decision... but the best one I ever made. I have already come close to making up for the cost of the body in the elimination of film and developing costs in just a few months use. Plus I got to sell my film scanner! I don't miss that at all... lol.

Dolores - This is a Photoshop plug-in filter called Buzzpro, by Segmentix. Its main purpose is to intelligently reduce detail, giving images a painterly effect. There are other effects it also does. Here is a link to a good article on it. You will also find a link on that page to try the free trial-period download, or purchase the product.
