Periwinkle [Ivy & Vine Pictures]
Uploaded: April 02, 2012 07:18:45
You know it is spring when the small, but oh so mighty little periwinkle wakes from it long winter’s nap to stretch it long vines and show for all who stop to notice its tiny and brilliant colored petals. Each year I am amazed by however dead it looks, this hearty little ground cover survives the toughest of winters.
