Do you know if the "Remember When" categories, mean use an old picture, or, something current that reminds me of something from the past?

I'd think something like dried flowers, from a wedding, or other past event? Maybe flowers at a gravesite. I did a google and found a whole list of "Flowers that symbolize Remembrance"... I think Poppies are used for remembrance of fallen soldiers... Or dead flowers for a lost relationship... seems like quite a few options.
