New Zealand time is ahead of BP time so I checked upcoming themes which said animals was the category for this month, so entered a bird photo. Checked my photo this morning and it says on the contest page (animals pets) so I am assuming the animal category yet again is themed. This must be now for about the third month in a row that animals has not been an open category. I am really getting annoyed about this, so yet again I have to wait another month till hopefully the animals category is open. Is anyone else finding this frustrating?

Hi Jeff, yes, upcoming themes for July says "Animals" but if you look on the home page it says this month's themes "Animals (Pets) so looks like it is pets so it's confusing.

Animals / Pets ...with this category I believe they mean that you can enter either wildlife OR pets as defined by the slash "/"

Martha R. Mazon's Gallery 		  I think you're right, Terry. From the page with all the monthly themes, it appears the Animal category has been renamed to Animals/Pets, I suppose to clarify for new users that pets are fine to include in this category.
