Searches? Why doesn't the search box work anymore? Terry Cervi mentioned it to me and sure enough when I wanted to find a member it says to use Google search? I am not happy to not be able to upload, not be able to use the search box, to not be able to enter my one photo a day into the contest, not get the POTD emails, not to be able to comment in a timely manner ( it takes forever to make a comment!)... I am so disappointed with BP these days. Ever since we got switched to "The New and Wonderful site" it seems there have been nothing but problems. It was so much nicer way back when it was free, and when you could actually win a nice prize...Just saying my 2 cents...I have met so many wonderful friends through BP which is one of the reasons I stay. I understand it is a business and has to make a profit to stay in business...just makes me sad I wish there was a way to return to the way things used to be, it was much more fun and inspiring.

My biggest issue is browsing galleries and commenting on photos. I used to comment on many images, but now it is so slow and tedious that I rarely take the time. With the old format I could go from page to page looking at images and opening photos that I'd like to get a better look at. With the new format if I comment or just open an image I'm taken back to page one of a gallery again instead of taking me back to the page I just left.

I agree Irene. I used to spend a couple of hours a day on BP, commenting, looking at my friends photos and reading the forum comments. Now I comment on a few, get frustrated and go elsewhere. I had all my photo friends listed in the search and I would just go down the list and visit each gallery to see what they had recently posted, reciprocate the comments I got on my images, look at what was posted for the contest etc. Now I find myself just trying to get my own photos posted. do a few comments and am done. BP used to be such a big part of my day, wish we could get it back there again somehow...

Yes, I am finding the comment thing annoying. When you comment and want to go back it takes you, after many clicks, to the home page and I just give up. Shame really, because I do like to make comments but are just not making nearly as many as I used to.

I appreciate the feedback. I'd prefer it if you sent it to me via the bp support email address but, all the same, I am grateful for you constructively letting me know what can be improved. It's always a balancing act. For example, if the site is too slow, I have to remove things that bog down the system (search) until I can figure out a better way. Or there is simply some gremlin in the system, as was the case with your temporarily not being able to enter, Jill. Thanks again,
