Need help with selective coloring for Corel Photo


I had forgotten how to do selective coloring in B&W for Corel Photo Paint....any advise? Thanks!

  There are many ways to do this. The two ways that I do it are as follows:

duplicate the layer. change the top layer to black and white. then use the eraser tool on top later to erase the parts of the black and white that you want to be in color and the result will bring the color from the bottom layer through then merge or flatten the image.

the other way

select with the lasso, or magic wand (whichever works best for you) select the part you want to be in color on the color image. click selection at the top menu, click invert selection then change to black and white the result should change everything to black and white except the part of the image that you wanted to stay in color
