problem with Internet Explorer I'm having a problem with Internet Explorer. I can't see the categories in the recent contest entries! I can see them in Firefox, but not IE. Is anyone else having this problem?

Ken, are you having this problem also with IE? This is happening since last night. I think it may have something to do with the change of the vertical add on the contest entries page.

Yes, IE and I noticed it last night too. I wasn't aware of a vertical add on...what does it do?

Ken, there's a vertical banner ad on the BP pages. Jim posted a twitter poll about various photo editing programs. Yesterday he replaced it. That may be causing the problem.

Well, thank heavens for this thread! I thought I was having problems with my IE v.8, after we had a power outage, with my computer on. The only page I have problems with is the Recent Contest Entries page: all the top row images (and the vertical banner ad) are cut-off by a white box, and the only BP menu bar item that "shows" is "Home." All along the white box area, the drop down items for "Home" are active. I wrote a quick email to BP about it.

I'm having the same problem with IE 8! Hope it's just a temporary glitch. I like to look at finalists by category.

Interesting. If you look at the page with the list of finalists from all months, you can see the finalists by category... http://www.betterphoto.com/contest/finalists.php And it appears that they have renamed some of the categories slightly.
