Lines and washout in images

It looks like your lines may be from your printer/scanner. Since I replaced my old lexmark printer (3500 series) with a new 7350 a couple of years ago. I no longer have that problem. You mau want to try a higher quality printer. Though pricey, Nikon has some awesome printers.

Looks like the print heads need cleaning. If you have not used the printer for a while, this may happen. Simply go to the maintenance page from the software that came with the printer and select head cleaning. You may have to do that more than one time to completely clear the print head. Hope this helps.
