Photography Question

Lack of vibrancy in colours

I have noticed on several occassions, that the images that I post compared to others lacks in vibrancy in colours. Even though when I look at the image in PS they are nice. Is there something that I am doing wrong when uploading the files. I normally upload jpeg. Also, viewing others photos some of them have eye popping colour, and almost a glossy look to them which I love but some how cannot achieve with my photo's. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. FYI, I have just started shooting in RAW, and if anyone has any suggestions with adjustments that can be made in RAW please feel free to add your input. Thanks to all in advance for your expertise in this matter.

You may want to check your Photoshop calibration....

Thanks Damian for your response; actually its your photographs that I love the intensity of the colours. I just submitted one today but its black and white, I did re-check my photoshop calibration, and put the images side by side and definitely the image after the calibration was alot better than the non calibrated one. Thanks again for your help. Also, I found saving it as tiff also made a difference.

Thanks Naveed! I find that I can squeeze a bit more colour out of my images by changing my white balance...

I'm assuming that's white balance on the camera or is it in post processing?
