Problem with camera


I have a sony DSC-717 and it acting up a bit.

It will let me take pictures in the house and when I go outside in the sunlight it get gray when I look through the camera and will not let me take pictures.

Has any experienced this?

I like to send it in to get looked at does anyone know a good camera repair shop for Sony camera's?

  Wow I have never experienced that problem before. You should be able to contact Sony through their web site, they have a support section for all their products. You can either email them or contact them by phone.

  It might be your sensor going bad. They had a lot of bad ones. Mine went a year ago and they fixed it free. Call them and they will tell you what to do if that's the problem.
